(Hey, I’m having a bad hairday!)

Yesterday, I felt like the whole world was caving in on me! Things were not going how I expected them. I was feeling useless, frustrated, sad!

I was feeling sorry for myself!

Then, my husband (Mr. Bourne- like Bourne Identity. I’ve given up and just let him have it.) pointed out alot of positive perspectives I was overlooking. He was right! But he forgot to mention one very important one: that he was my best-friend.

You know life is good when you consider your husband to be your best friend.

Cheesy, Perhaps! But sometimes cheese is good. Especially if it’s goat’s cheese or Labneh or fresh shavings of parmesan melting on some freshly boiled liguini!

Anyway.

When I acknowedged that one point, my whole mood, perspective and day changed. I realized I have something that is not very easy to find! That makes me lucky.

We argue and disagree like everyone else, but we’re always there for each other! And, that’s what counts the most.

Onto the picnic topic: I’m dying to show you this really cool purse I picked up.

It’s a speaker purse that you connect your i-pod to. It’s pretty cool. Not the loudest, but nevertheless efficient. You wouldn’t want something too loud anyway. Unless you really enjoy being a pest to others.

We filled it up with kafta- Lebanese Lamb kebabs, hummus, Arabic bread, julienne cuts of spring onions, tomatoes and cucumber, and some smoothies. We were so hungry we went straight for the dive and forgot to take a picture.

I took some books with us; cookbooks, quote book, and magazines. I read up on photoshop.

And, Mr. Bourne handled all the music! He’s a musical genius!
